Friday's honey do's lead into Saturday's honey do's
but I did get out dirt fishing all day today.
9 days of stay-cation and I hunted 7 of them.
Today started out driving by two properties, no cars in the driveways so I headed on out to hit an old demolished school's grounds. First 2 targets in the first 10 minutes of the hunt were wheats so I was hoping for some silver. Not to be had though, I only dug 2 more coins. The 1st hunted lasted about 2 hours and off I wen't to get another permission in the neighborhood I have been concentrating on. This makes the 4th house (they are all next to each other) that I was granted permission. It took me 2 hours of gridding to find my 1st keeper, the 1945-S Walker.
10 feet ahead of the clad Kennedy half.
30 minutes later I dug the 1943 Washington.
A couple of the othe rnice finds were the pocket watch,
the thimble,
and a an odd lead weight.
I gridded about 80% of the property. the owner (a younger fellow) said I can come back anytime to finish, whether anyone is at home or not.
Today's Notables

All Finds (less trash)

A couple pics of the odd lead weight. Anyone have an ID?

As always, I hope ya'll got out and swung the coil
today.
Back to work tomorrow.
