Well I have tried a few more spots over the last few days. It has been perfect weather and I have enjoyed getting out and detecting even though my finds are not what I would like them to be. Silver just not being found right now and have only found one wheatie?? The sites I am hunting for sure is old enough. Anyway I found a few dollars in clad and some other goodies!!! This is a few of the better finds! ;D

I too am interested in the pendant: pretty intricate craftsmanship for a bauble. Might almost be some kind of button.

It does not come apart. I thought that would be the case but I tried and it wouldn't. It will spin around though?? I have no idea on the use. It is huge for a button. It's different!!

looks maybe like a coat button to me.

My favorite is the copper or brass thingy with the glass in it. If you look close it has a dinosaur pic in it. T-REX!! They don't use heavy copper or brass like that in toys now days. Must be pretty old!!

When I saw this I thought it was some kind of "mood brooch" kind of thing from the 1960's. But you feel that it's pretty old . . . how old could it be with T-Rex in it though? :icon_scratch:

I still like the other piece better ;D

I don't know that it is super old but some people have said it is from jurassic park movie stuff. I just can't believe as heavy made as it is and out of copper or brass it is a newer item. Could be 50's or 60's though. That is all I'm meaning by old. ;D
Like I said, no big keepers on these hunts the last few days. Just fun outside in much cooler temps in Kentucky

Nice finds.. and yeah... Better than digging pop tabs :)

Never give up... research is key..

In some prime areas, large trees get blown over by storms, exposing HUGE pits and roots.
SOme say the ancestors buried coinds with trees planted and along the life of the tree, as gifts to the earth.
Look for some tree pits and see what the signals say.

I live by this motto "If it's heavy, then it's expensive, put it down before you break it."
Believe me I've found this to be true in a lot of cases, possibly including your T-Rex.
