Last Few Hunts - Couple of "Foxy" Buttons!

I haven't really been getting much time out this year, an hour here and there until today, when the Patriot and I headed out and hit a few previously hit sites. I also had about an hour the previous evening at a hard hit site and grabbed a couple goodies. Various buttons, jews harp, crotal bell, buckles. Most interesting were the two fox buttons, and the stamped brass piece which has a block D on it - however i was only partial.

I do like variety! The coins all seemed to find their way under Patriots coil though!

Some great saves there hunthicks, I'm.liking those fox buttons, seems to be quite a few found around here..also like the iron Jews harp..would've been nice to find out what the "D" thing was attached too, especially where you found it.

I'd like to know as well, almost everything coming out of there was period. Maybe the next ploughing will bring something up!!

They're a pretty neat find, given they would have been one of the few sources of entertainment in those days. I've found three different sizes of brass ones now!

I like all the same things too. I've found the exact same button as the one on the right and have found only one iron jaws harp as well! Anything good can show up at that site, good luck with it!
