got out to for a few hours to hunt a late 1800's house site today, the area is very overgrown a mix of pines and hardwoods, lots of roots to deal with
, anyhow there was the expected large amounts of iron trash around the site but i saw a lone cedar tree by itself about 20 feet off the corner of the house site, first target i got by it was the eagle button, this button is 2 piece no discernible backmark and has a shiny black patina, first ive found like that, about 25 feet away from the button i got the 1907 Canadian Large cent, weird find for the backwoods of va haha, HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE, GOOD HUNTING IN 2013
