Overall, I’m pretty happy with my 2020 season. I only scored 39 silver, but I lost a lot of hunting time because I chose to go back to college for my Bachelors degree. I also put in a lot of extra hours helping my city with their COVID-19 response. I was hoping to find silver #40 today, but things didn’t exactly go my way. Still, I did manage to find these;

The gold colored doodad was found in a pine forest and still has sap on it. I’m going to bring it to my local coin shop to be tested, it’s a really neat piece, and even has my initial on it! If it’s real gold, that would be even better.

39 silver coins, 1 gold ring, 30 or so large coppers, dozens of Indians, 100’s of wheats, and 1 Bachelors degree; I’ll take it!

Next year I’m going to keep better track of my large coppers, Indians, and wheat pennies, I used my photo library on my phone to guesstimate the amount of large coppers that I found this year.

2020 was a weird one, that’s for sure! I hope that everyone on here is doing OK, take care, and Happy New Year!

Nice job on that Large Cent.

Nice way to ring out the year 2020!
That doodad looks like a sealing wax stamp...very cool!
Happy New Year!

Ya, a silver would of been nicer than that a old LC -with a bloody hole in it. :laughing7:

The fob seal-ya just another everyday piece of of history that hardly anyone ever digs.:occasion14:

Personally I'll just say that hunt would do me right nicely-congrats.

BTW-Tip the hat for your going back for the Bach.degree and helping out.:icon_thumright::icon_thumleft:

Pretty nice finds if you ask me! Thanks for sharing with us. Happy New Year to all!
