I love the beak to beak one too. More and more are showing up here, they hang around till the end of Oct/Nov time frame then off to warmer areas, depends on how our weather holds up some stay hanging around.

River Rat, here in Colorado the hummingbirds all leave about the middle of Sept. so the ones that you see in Louisiana may be the ones I’ve been feeding all Summer. You’ll recognize mine because their almost to fat to fly.

Evolution, don’t tell anyone, but my secret to nice snapshots is that --- I only show you the good ones ;D
