Last of the season

Here’s a few pictures of the last remaining hummingbirds of the season. Their almost all gone

now, headed for warmer climes I expect. I should be so smart.

I love the beak to beak one too. More and more are showing up here, they hang around till the end of Oct/Nov time frame then off to warmer areas, depends on how our weather holds up some stay hanging around.

River Rat, here in Colorado the hummingbirds all leave about the middle of Sept. so the ones that you see in Louisiana may be the ones I’ve been feeding all Summer. You’ll recognize mine because their almost to fat to fly.
