Went back to the overgrown field for the last time.

Worked hard for 4 hours covering 1.5 acres. It wasn't the finish we wanted but its what we got.

1864 Farthing

The Jaw Harp is the largest I have seen.
OK Dandy button with loop.
Early medieval lead weight
Horse brass
Nice early medieval buckle
Rare early medieval lead token with a face of a man on one side & a women on the other

I will shortly be posting our results for the year.

I guess some will be unhappy to here they are scrap metal (worth more than collecting value).

As kindabuckleboy said on one of your previous posts, don't you feel sorry for us??
In order for us to find something from say 500 years ago, we would need to wait another 200 or so years. Yet you have much older things that you find routinely!

What is a old find here in Upstate Ny is a typical find for team Crusader !!
