Hello all,
We made it out to our union camp again for what I believe to be our last time for a while. The hay has grown up to above knee level making it very hard to swing. Plus the owner was spraying the fields as we were leaving so we decided it was best for us to stay out until he cuts the hay (hopefully sometime in May. Anyway we still had a ton of fun and found some good stuff. We got some rivets, a nice J hook, a button back with gilding still on it but it started to fall apart. 12 bullets, a suspender buckle, some camp lead, cut or melted bullets, a brass piece that looks like it was a spout to something (please help ID this one if you can). A harness buckle and some buckle pieces. What I think is a lock hasp (not sure how old it is) a pocket knife, and several unknown objects. The best find of the day was a chess or game piece carved from a bullet. A very cool find. If you can ID any of our stuff please let us know. Thanks for looking

JimK
