... a bunch of stuff.

For $20, we purchased:
- A brand new water pump for a garden water feature. Should bring $30 - $40.
- The top parts of a red KitchenAid blender. Spent half an hour digging through boxes because the lady insisted the motor was in there somewhere! Probably $40 - $50 in parts.
- A complete Oster blender. Works fine but these don't bring nearly as much as KitchenAid blenders. Still probably worth $30 or so.
- A Nurit credit card terminal. Appears to be NIB but I just discovered the power cord is missing. May have to buy one because this should be a $50+ item if I had that.
- A chambered nautilus shell (maybe worth $20)
At a different yard sale, we bought:
- A stainless steel penguin-shaped cocktail shaker for $5. Probably not worth more than $15 - a little disappointing.
- A small collection of hat pins for $3. Hard to guess what these might bring.
- A pair of sterling (weighted) salt & peppers shakers for $6. I have seen identical sets on ebay sell for around $50.
- A NIB golf ball monogramming tool for $1. Also a little disappointing. I'll be lucky to get $10 out of it.
- A pair of Vivitar binoculars for $5. Should be able to get $30 - $40 for them.
So for a $40 investment I should be able to net about 4X that amount. Nothing to get all amp-ed up about and a fair amount of work will go into making that happen but still not a bad morning's work.
