Late 1800's City Park gives up Two Barber Dimes

Yesterday I went on an Dirt Fishing Adventure after locating a late 1800's City Park on a nearby small town 1904 City Map. The Creek and Lake helped me to locate this Old Park in Today's City. I was happily surprised to find this old location while no longer a park was located by what is now an Aquatic Park and Soccer Field. The best thing was part of the ground where the old park was is still being mowed, the other half on the East side of the creek is a soy bean field. As soon as the bean are harvested in the next couple of weeks I'll be back. LOL

I love doing this type of research too. Nothing like finding old maps and overlaying them on modern ones to see what was there in the past. Then going to detect those old parks, home sites and gathering areas to hopefully find some old relics & coins.
