Late Post- Sunday's Finds
Sorry about the late post, I had misplaced my camera.
It was hot after church on Sunday, but we'd already made plans to his a site that was having some work done on it.
Not to trashy of a site, but did have some aluminum can pieces. It hadn't rained around here any big amount for about 2 months and the ground is like concrete, unless you find where the grass is greenest.
Anyway, the first hole I dug about 10 minutes after arriving gave up the nose cast Enfield. A half hour later yielded the .54 caliber three ringer. The two Gardners were a big surprise because I wasn't expecting to find Confederate stuff.
With a little retrospect, I guess all of it could be CS. This area saw use from both sides.
Thanks for looking.
