I am wondering if this is a CW bullet or something more modern?
I believe it is .36 caliber, 5/8" long.

I do believe it is modern. The cup in the bottom does not look deep enough and the rifling marks on the side don't look right to me. For what I have seen from that era. This is just my opinion. I'm no expert.

Agreed, looks like a modern 9mm FMJ. 9mm is .355 dia.
