Being from south Louisiana I have many old plantation homes really close by. My wife and I tour them as often as we can. This past week end we went to three of them, spent the night at one. But this one, Laura Plantation was a Creole Plantation. It was by far the most informative, interesting tour I have ever been on. If you travel and like this kind of thing I strongly suggest that you place it on the top of your list of must sees!

I talked to some of the workers about that. The oldest coin found was a 1722 French coin of some sort. They obviously wont let anyone (except them) hunt on the property

Looks like it was some kind of organised group hunt? I asked and they said they didnt allow metal detecting lol

Shane, it was a MD club hunt. Ace had posted pics under the Louisiana thread several years back.
