Lead anchor pendant found this morning in Bradenton FL....I can't find any online so maybe home made?.....

Definitly homemade..... the area you found this in is where a large sea faring family from key west settled in 1859-60. There was also the USCT Navy presence there during the Civil War. Lots of possibilities.....old that's for sure. I would love that one in a display of local artifacts.
 

I think the brass items pictured in your second post are orthopedic inserts for shoes.

The lead anchor is very intriguing. I guess we will never know for sure, but I think what villagenut said really provides for some exciting possibilities. Being as how it is homemade and also made of lead would make some kind of Civil War ersatz insignia a possibility. It's neat to think about!
 

I agree that the anchor is homemade. No mounting hole for an ornament. Maybe line goes through the bent over eyelet at top. Nice find

I agree on the metal inserts...just missing the leather that would have covered them.....thank you for your information....
