Lead bottle cap ??

Found this lead disc with a raised edge on the back







Has a really nice patina. And bout as big as a silver dollar and twice as thick.

Any ideas would be sweet

Maybe a smashed musketball or bullet, but the edges are crimped, so maybe not.

it may well be a cap for a vessel of some type."in the day"hardly a farmer who didnt melt and use babbit or lead to solve whatever came up,perhaps including a needed cap for a jug or bottle.a simple guess and observation
