Lead object

Dug this yesterday at cellar hole listed on 1850s map,seems to have some numbers and letters,some look overstamped.Thought maybe ID tag for animal*** Also must be way I took pic but it is smaller in diameter than the half dollar in pic

Can see where it looks a year..but 3rd number throwing me off...

Looks like "1885" to me, but the third and fourth numbers are distorted a bit.
