Hi All,
Great weather we're havin in the UK just lately!
Recently searched in a delightful little field, not too far away from home - visited 3 times so far, I'll leave it for a while now as grass is growing long again.
Finds so far from this little area:
Two Lead Seals:
George V 1927 Half Crown, George VI 1942 Sixpence (Silver .500 fine)
Handfull of other coins ranging from 1862 Victoria to Elizabeth II 1959 Half Pennies
Plenty of Buckles
Thimbles and Buttons
A nice piece of worked flint (scraper or cutter) - The area has been known for flint-tool finds in the past.
Not so much trash - including a metal badge plate 'J. BENNETT, MAKER, DERBY'
and a live bullet, more than likely a .303 British Mk VII SAA Ball cartridge
