I found this little lead toy drummer today near the front porch of a house built in 1887. It is 2 inches long and has little teeth marks in the base where it had been chewed on long ago. My question is what time period would these have been played with. Looks like maybe ww1 era?

Yeah I'm thinking wwI era. I've found lead toy soldiers that were wwI and it fits the description

The shallow snare drum is from the very late 19th or early 20th C and forward. Up to the 1880's rope tension field drums were deeper. WWI era is a good guess on this piece.

Cool find!
