Leasing a claim that I own the rights to

Hi guys I am new here and have a question.

If I were to buy the rights to a mining claim can I lease the claim out to a 3rd party for mining and collect a royalty?

The original lease would or should have it stated if you can or can not lease it to someone else. If it is not in there ask to have that put in the lease that you have the right to sub-lease it to someone else.

If its a BLM claim you have the right to sublease/rent to a third party.
BUT, you the person on record with BLM are responsable if the party
you rented to does not comply with all the required regs. & permits.
You could end up losing the claim if not very careful with writing out
a lease. (and whom you lease to) The best rule to follow-- cover your
ass on every detail.
