Led Zeppelin

tickets were supposed to go on sale for them at Hershey Park Stadium in sept 1980.
instead of hearing the promised announcement on WMMR to rush for your tickets,
I heard John Bonham Had Died :(

Poor Guy's luck was Worse then Mine
:coffee2:

that was a sad day, when I think about it I actually know exactly where I was when I heard it.

I was at high school in the smoking area and heard it on the radio. I sat down and started crying. Bonham is the reason I play the drums.
Great album!

yep Me too ! heading North on 209 Through Reinerton ,
My ears just Perked up because WMMR Promised to announce
when tickets would be for sale and I heard we have a bit of "Led Zepplin News".:headbang:............ :(

and then Like a Punch to the Gut :(

they Didn't need to say More. If they did :dontknow:

No I Can't say I cried But we did roll another

I couldn't stand them, because I had a friend who played nothing but Stairway to Heaven, back to back, all day, every day until I wanted to scream.

Now I have come to appreciate them. Livin' Lovin' Maid, The Immigrant Song, and I even like Stairway.

I had a Girl friend, Not a Girlfriend,
But our First dance ever in '72 was a dirty dance to Stairway to Heaven at my Sisters Wedding. that was before I Ever heard the Phrase Dirty dancing.. But was done allot then.
But anyway She apparently used to think it made more of an Impression then it Did. I'd be driving and Hearing Dedications
Occasionally from her . yea one of the few zepplin songs that gets over played. I always Choose to Bypass it.
