length of beach scoop

I am currently shopping for a shallow water beach scoop. I have seen many advertisements but am not sure if length advertised includes the scoop. I currently have a mesh scoop total length including scoop and handle is 47 inches. I am comfortable with this length and want to get a new scoop close to it.

Call the distributor/manufacturer before you buy to be sure the leght is right.
