Wicked nasty Archaic piece from Lewis county area. Boyle chert and very, very thin, obviously made off of a flake, but with skilled bifacial flaking. Kirk? Almost seems serrated, but then again, this point is freaky. It isn't broken, or chipped in any way, it just looks like that for some reason.

Picture perfect Boyle chert Big Sandy side notch, with indented base. Beautiful piece.

These were bought off of a local guy, Lance K. He has a YouTube channel, and it's funny, because I know exactly where he was at, and I go to the same places, but I haven't found diddly squat yet.

Nice acquisitions. I know Lance. Great guy and has some nice relics. I hunt quite a few different spots in Lewis county but almost all of them are permission for just me only.

I've never heard of Boyle chert. What counties does it outcrop? It sure is nice clean looking stuff. Gary

You wouldn't happen to be that Robert R. guy on YouTube, would you?

No. I don't have a YouTube channel.

You should get one. Any guy who finds 400 artifacts in a year, especially ones as cool as you usually find, is definitely worth watching.
