✅ SOLVED Lid Engraved With Number And Flag

Hi all, Another find is giving me ID trouble...found today in an old yard. I was glad to see something written on the inside but all I found was 66596 and a flag emblem. Looks like it was hinged at one time. Ideas welcome.
