Life before and after the "Welcome Stranger Nugget" Richard Oates

Hi All Far Far away in an small country town Grave yard our hunt began. Many would believe that another great nugget would be found in Bulldog Gully . Many have tried by the truck loads but a smart hunter knows better. The lesser sites of one Richard Oates was the target of this project.First a couple of trips to where John Deason and Richard Oates had their first claim in 1853 . St Just Point Long Gully . Hunted the diggings and around so ruins . From there we have been hunting everything which can get access too. So from Long Gully out to a small town Marong some 13 miles away. Even went to the grave yard to pay some respect. This project is on going sorry at this stage of the lack of detail .
