LIFE magazine article on treasure hunters

I'm writing a cover story for LIFE magazine (for the August 26 issue) on recreational treasure hunting and am looking for families in southern california who hunt together. Could be beach detectorists, gold panners, divers, anything. Just trying to find some happy **photogenic** families who might let me join them on a hunt this week or next.

I had the pleasure of meeting David last week with several members of our club. he spent some time interviwing several of us. Then this past weekend two pohotgraphers came to our annual hunt and spent the whole weekend taking photos of various people and hunts. thanks to David, Brian, Jeff and Jessica fom Life for letting us shasre our hobbie with the rest of the country.
