Was able to get out for almost 2 hours today in same spot we have hit and recently found a cannon ball. Found some flat buttons toasted Indian and some sort of buckle type thingy? Best find was a war of 1812 era Light Artillery 1st regiment button in great shape. Pretty excited since it’s my first US military button found.

Beautiful button and small buckle! :icon_thumleft:

2 Hours I need to see if I have batteries in mine wows I'd quit my job if I could do that Excellent finds

Great hunt, awesome button & buckle but the buckle is the winner in my book, congratulations on the saves

That little silver buckle is miles ahead of the killer 1812 button....and I love that button! Silver buckles are so damn hard to find. I’ve got piles of shoe buckles and I’ve never even sniffed a fragment of a silver buckle. I’d be over the moon with that baby

Well it passed the magnet test so that’s good I guess haha thanks I think I appreciate it more for sure then when first dug.

The 18th C silver knee buckle is the best find!
