More finds from the Observation Post. John and I were hoping to locate a large camp associated with this Observation Post, but we are still looking and have a lot of ground to cover yet. These type of outposts are usually for watching enemy movements and to protect the actual camps located nearby. The chances of finding another large camp are still good. Some of my finds, Knapsack hook, a pocket knife and several of the large caliber 69's. The coin is a wheat penny probably lost by the land owner. Some of the fired bullets I think could be from a skirmish due to the proximity to the main road. Until next time Tsgman.
