It's that time of year that I've been so busy at work that I haven't been out in a couple weeks. I finally managed an hour this afternoon and hit my neighbor's yard. The house is mid 1800s so I thought it may have a keeper of two. First target was the 1859 LC so I thought there was promise here. I found the other two pieces a few feet apart but they look of the same style and I'm wondering if they were once attached. I'm not sure though because the large brooch is pressed brass and the face is solid...who knows but I thought they were kind of cool...

Well I think we are just tapping into a new area that may produce other Rev War buttons but time will tell :tongue3:

With the word "limping" I was kind of expecting a broken leg story, but just busy.

That's an interesting little dude with that facial expression.

LC in good shape, not one of the scarcer varieties is it ?

1859 is a common year Rick...1858 would have been a nice one.
