1st Buckle 1600's???

Hi all,
Haven't been out that much this summer! Now that Labor Day has passed I can get to some of my favorite spots! This spring I invested some of my treasure funds into a new E-trac! Maybe been out a dozen times and still seems I have barley scratched the surface as to understanding all the new info the machine is telling me! Do you still dig everything? Do you rely on factory setttings or tweaking a personal program? Well anyway went to an old spot yesterday that I have had some great finds and again I found a first....... Colonial or even a Pilgrim shoe buckle, I found a replica on line so I think that's what it maybe??? Any one seen or found one please let me know what I've got! All and all I love the buckle and the E-trac....... will be back to hit it hard! HH

Great buckle and better ground! Wish most of my finds came out like that.

Thanks IP soil is rather sandy loose, the buckle is brass or maybe copper?

you know that saying "they don't make um like they used to" that is obviously the case with buckles, now they are made out of punched out metal, those ones are not nearly as nice as the one you found
