Ok I must appologize in advance as I am posting from my phone. Today I went to make a deposit at my local bank and asked the teller if she had any older dollar coins. She just lit up! She said yes and she said she could not wait to get rid of them. I just smiled. She had 5 ikes. I snaged them up and got $5.50 in pennnies and $40 in nickles. Got them to start off small in crh. I think I am going to go back to that teller and make friends. She brought me som good luck. Filled a good 20 spots in my penny books, which were started last yr. Any how here are the totals. I also have a question for all of you that I will post after the totals.

Ikes
1-'72
2-'74D
1-1776-1976 v2
1-78 D

Nickles
Nothin

Pennies
1-'78 canadian
1-'44D

Now my question is about an 1987 penny. It seems to have been struck differently. The top end is thick while the bottom is thin. Is this a special error worth keeping? I tried attaching a picture. Hope it worked.

A lot of cents have that look after striking. No added value.
