I dug this last night. I’m not in the habit of saving Memorials, but this one I had to. Not often do I come across a shot coin. But I guess that will be one off the list too!!

I used to shoot coins with my .222 rifle. I'd tape them to the target and shoot them at 100 yds. from a bench. Sometimes you'd hit one and it would fly off the target and get lost. Now you know where they came from. Gary
 

if it was a dollar coin it would be a buck shot eehhhh cool find not a lucky penny for sure

We did that a few times with Necco wafers (are they still made?). They would explode in a puff of sugar dust when hit. When we got tired of that, we could eat our targets.
