HEY FELLAS got out on sat in Culpeper for a cold sunny snowy rainy hunt. Started slow but then I got into a firepit that netted a few melted bullets and nothing else. After a few bullets of varying types i popped out a big ole 2 peice that turned out to be a New hampshire vol. militia. Sweet! after a nother few bullets and a whole buch of junk i got a higher signal in a patch of 22 shells. ANd a Real nice VA button came to surface. Best part is its a Kent Paine & Co RIchmond *** backmark! The NH button is blank on the back- thanks for looking

Sweet VA button James!! I work in the building that's on the site of the Kent, Paine & Co store. I'm probably the only person in the whole big building to know that....or who even cares Those buttons are fairly rare because the store was turned into General Hospital #5 in 1862 and not many VA buttons were manufactured by them.
