Got some good size to it!! NIce!!

Most of the sand was still very mushy making it almost impossible to sift, so I went back to my truck and got my pinpointer, which I rarely ever use at the beach in the summer.

So I'd retrieve the target with the scoop, dump it out, pinpoint it with the metal detector then zero in on it with the hand held - Very difficult to find objects in wet sand since it clings to everything, even if you know they are there somewhere.

Nice looking ring and gold shows you're doing something right. Absolutely love when good stuff just blows by. I was working a beach near New Smyrna a few yrs ago when an official looking document tumbled by in the wind. Turned-out to be a Pilot's license - who died the night before in a single engine plane crash just up the beach.

Yes love any gold
