I'm 64 folks! Old age is knocking on the door but nobody is at home! There's not much left of the school yard as they have asphalted it over and made it into a basketball court. I found this out front where the flag pole is located. The old school had 3 rooms and a gymnasium when I went there but now it is about 4 times bigger in size. I went there and all my kids went there through 6th grade. The playground is locked up behind a fence because of vandals. This is where I was accousted by the security guard that had no pants when I climbed over the fence about two years ago. (One of my old stories). Cold front coming in tomorrow and it's back to shivering again. Almost didn't get the ring. I was using my light weight Silver UmaxTesoro and it is a single tone detector. I am use to multiple tones, (ala Garrett). I heard a penny, dug it first and then rechecked my hole and had another signal. Ran the discrimination all the way up to the silver range and it still sang out so I dug a little deeper and out popped the ring. Old lesson I learned early, "Always recheck the hole before you move on"! Monty
