Location tip - Detroit Construction site.

I got a tip on a hunting area in Detroit near Jefferson and Alter. I was told that there were people finding old bottles and coins without a detector!

I haven't been able to make it down there yet, but if anyone does... Post your finds!

Any idea of what type of construction? Like is the road and sidewalk torn up? Did you get any idea about how old the coins are- I know that whole area is historic. I might head down there,

He said that the whole building was torn down.

If you look on Google street view, there is an abandoned building on the corner of Jefferson and Alter that is fenced off. I am guessing that is the building that was torn down.

He did mention that they were building condos in that area, so hopefully there is a sign posted at the site.
