Found this big guy in the same area as my 1735 20 Reis. Thought I had a big silver the wat she rang. Lol. Coolest lock I've found to date. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1481994525.250755.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1481994543.019599.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1481994565.210565.webp
Gave the door a little tap w a jewelers hammer and it moved. Couldn't believe it. I have to go find that key!
Thanks for the look

How cool would it be to find the key.

Oh wow, that is SWEET! :hello2:

It would be great to have that lock restored.
I'm sure there are locksmiths around who can help you to get a key for that lock.
Congrats

Fantastic find! Definitely a bonafide relic you have there.

Congratulations. That's a nice relic. Any markings?

Old locks like that are very nice finds. Congrats.

Congratualtions on the great relic find! :notworthy:

Awesome lock. I found a similar one earlier this year. The face was missing. I cleaned the caked clay out and did a thorough cleaning and polishing. Here's a pic to show you what's inside;)
