Hit a couple local parks and a sidewalk tear out today with some fellow local club members. Surprisingly found nothing at the tear out of an old stretch of sidewalk. Found the merc and wheat pennies on an old golf course green that is now a park. Found the V nickel at a different park.

Hello detectorben. Nice digs. That Merc looks fine and V's are always a welcome sight...add a coupla WC's and call it a very good hunt.

Thanks for the post and Good Luck out there. C9

I always like a bright red V nickel...
Brings back a a great memory of my one and only Vnic.
Congrats on the fine looking Merc.

Great score on the V nickel and Merc. Sorry the sidewalk tear out was a bust. Nice finds you got scouring the countryside.:icon_thumright:

Step away from the V nickel and no one will get hurt.

Great work on all those coins. Hopefully winter will come soon and we all can hunt in coolness.

Always nice to walk away with a keeper or 2 after a long day of hunting. Gratz!
