So made it out to couple of old gold ghosts town in the desert. First site to see was this huge oryx, sorry but my camera phone is not that up to date lol, but then the morning was filled with emptiness and lots of walking. After digging up lots of bullets and shell casings, bottle tops and tin. my day turned around wen i found these three beautiful items. first the crossed muskets, then 1905 v. and last it was the 1900 v. yup it did turn out to be a great day. 0125141543.webp0125140713.webpthanks again TEXAS YANKEE for the ride out there.

yes treblehunter we did.

thank you msbeepbeep

Surf you can see it better if you look at texas yankees pics

Nice finds there fellow Texan! Relics of the old west. I noticed a couple of 45-70 Springfield bullets circa 1870's. Go back!

very nice finds

thanks thrill. yeas it good place to hunt. for sure going back. when spring comes planning a weekend expedition. days are to short and cold right now. thanks for the info. by chance do u know what year the crossed muskets are from

Just in case you don't already know... your crossed-muskets US Infantry hat insignia seems to have a "screw-pin" attachment on its back... which dates it from 1896 through 1923. That makes it more-or-less fit with the time-period of your somewhat-worn 1900 and 1905 coins.
