I have used short, long, and medium length shovels. I like the 40" range shovels, and have a lesche digger for when searching. If I'm in an ag field, like at div, I prefer a long handle shovel.

31” Sampson T-Handle shovel with serrated edge. Works awesome standing or kneeling.

Lost mine at the end of the season. Killer shovel. I decided to try the 18" double serrated edge this time. I'm short, and I kneel down all the time anyway. Haven't got it yet. Have to wait for Christmas:tongue3: It also should be less conspicuous when in a park.

Sampson 31" T has been my go-to for two years now. I'll use my Hori Knife in a good-looking private lawn, but the Sampson is my preference. 😁

I have a land shark shovel. Very similar but less intimidating to the public at large.

When you show up with a large shovel this is what the others see.
