Hi folks. I found this the other day in a cornfield that is in an area that has given up colonial coppers and lots of musketballs, arrowheads in the past. The back is just like the side you see with no solder marks visible, so I don't know how it was attached to anything. I think it is embossed or stamped brass.

Looks like one of those hair bows that had a stick through it to hold a ladies hair:icon_scratch:. Tony

Just like this side except the decorations are stamped or embossed into the metal. There are no solder marks.
