I’m supposed to stay indoors due to breathing issues. I couldn’t take it today! Had to go field walking. 9”-13” of snow predicted for tonight. I found a few rocks (not shown) and these flint flakes. Not much to show. The little man is 2.75” for comparison.
I believe you have to put in the time if you want success. Eventually I’ll hit on something better.

Definitely understand BF! Once this hobby gets in your blood it’s hard to sit still. Either way take care and beautiful carving!

I agree that’s why I always find more when I’m alone, when I’m with family or friends they tend to treat it like a walk from point a -b then time to move on, I usually go back and walk the same spot like I lost something and tend to do much better

Good luck with your snowstorm! Looks like IA is ground zero for this one. I’m just far enough south to be on the edge of it. Pouring rain here.

The points & flakes still get my heart rate up a little but nothing eases my mind like a nice slow stroll across a field or in the woods!
