looking at new detector

Xp is a good detector, I was gonna go for the nokta but it is not a true multi frequency detector. I honestly for the money and the durability and dependability I would go with the Equinox 800.

thank u

Ur welcome, u were in my predicament before last month, I wanted nokta until.i found about it not being true multi, then deus was good but not to many people handle em in my area so I tried minelab and.would'nt have it any other way.

I have the anfibio multi and my brother has the nox 800! Don’t sleep on the anfibio cause it’s not true multi frequency the machine is as deep as the nox and with the combination of concentric couple along with smaller dd coils it’s an amazing machine in iron infested sites. Have heard multiple times the anfibio outperforms in higher mineralized soil and I’ve got a couple instances myself! Every site I’ve hit had been pounded every direction my se pro, etrac, mx5, safari, mxt pro stock coil and sharpshooter coil, found 30+ nonferrous targets these have missed!! My brother gridded off a section of one field and pulled a couple goodies with the nox and after that we switched he didn’t pull any nonferrous targets that I missed and when I hit his section I found a few buttons and a liberty cap lc (on edge) and a pewter cap gun all solid signals not saying the anfibio is better in all occasions If your doing a lot of beach hunting go with the nox but non saltwater the anfibio loves its coins and and relics and this is comining from a minelab only guy up to this point!! If your looking for turn on and go productivity without the willingness to Lear the detector nox800 but if your looking to finely tune every setting on the detector go with the anfibio just my 2 cents but I have seen both perform in the wild on non mild and hot ground (hot rocks high mineralization) the nox is HYPED while the anfibio is a bit of a sleeper not too big of a fan of 3 tone mode though not very deep at all

Cute write up, I talked to 2 detector shops and asked about the anfibio vs nox they told me hands down the 800, I know every machine has to have somebody who understands and listens to what it does and in my opinion u have to look at everything involved, the nokta hasn't been around to long and is still untested as to the longevity of the brand. Minelab has been tested and proven to be top notch.

Cause I’m sure those two detector shops want you to buy the more expensive detector lol never had anything other than minelab so not bashing it what so ever just talking bout my experience and so far the nokta has out performed the nox in my soil everyone I hunt with owns minelab and I still do too but on relics and copper/ brass coins (not silver) the anfibio gets the nod my little brother is butthurt he got the nox instead! You go ahead and go off someone’s word I’m going to go with the hard prod that’s been put right in front of me. Not to mention a lot of people run the anfibibio in 3 tone mode which has no depth but is considered there fast mode I don’t touch it unless I know targets only 2 inches or so deep I’ll give more than examples tho this was just talking about one instance the nox is probably better all rounder especially if your looking for gold or beach hunting but for relics and 17/1800s house I’ll take my anfibio! Oh and not to mention coil selection for trashy areas I’ll take concentric over did most of the time nox is easier anfibio is more customizable so for people who don’t put there effort into the machine to learn it 99% will say nox but I’ve ran both through test garden multiple settings and they are both extremely comparable not hating on nox just putting my 2 cents

It all depends on what type of hunting you are going to do. Some people like a quicker machine, while others are happy with the older machines. I went with the xp deus and at first i was sorry, but now it is my go to machine. I spent a little time getting used to it, and now I hunt with it anly. I have followed other machines around only to get what they could not. I put the HF 9x5 coil on it, really like quick target seperation I get finding older coins next to junk. Check it out.

Haha I actually got the equinox for 749 new lol so it was cheaper than I was going to get the nokta
