I went out head hunting saturday with my son. We walked a mile or two to a waterway and found that the banks had fallen on to the shoreline covering up a major portion of the looking area. Along with weeds and other growth the shore was really hard to look. We found a few chips but not worth the walk. Most exciting thing about that trip was the huge black snake I stepped on. We decided to try some favorite fields only to find that the corn was much higher than we expected which made looking tough again. Other than a couple of creeks that I can walk, arrowheading looks like it will soon be put on hold till fall. This is all we had to show for this day. A large hide scraper and one point. Not much but we still had a fun time.
