We were out in the woods today coin shooting and came across this surface find .... we just can't seem to date it. On top it says, "FEDERAL LAW FORBIDS SALE OR RE-USE OF THIS BOTTLE". On the bottom it says PAT APPL'D R420 16-41 2

Any information would be much appreciated!!

Thanks guys!!

Howdy Heysenn,

The "FEDERAL LAW FORBIDS..." language was mandated post Prohibition. It is embossed on liquor bottles from 1934-1964. See TTB - Industry Circular Number: 64-18 Your bottle looks late 1930's early 1940's.
