Yeah that is how I start my day open my front door stairing right at the cooling towers in front of my face.

OHHH, but you just don't understand the depth my detector gets when I hunt close to home. J/K

And camp mead is one of the first places I disscovered and marked in my book after I got my white's in 2000 but I have yet to go there but I have bin occupied with the sights that I would not mention on the internet. not being greedy I share but that would be with a hunnting buddy or if someone on the forum is going to be in the area and want to go out a day or two wial they'd be in town.

Good Hunting.

Hello Jeff & Uber.....as my name implies I am also in PA. I actually live close to you Jeff if you are in Joliett as your tag says. Uber I work all over central PA including Middletown...as a matter of fact I have permission to hunt an old farm in Middletown that I just haven't had time to get to. I also do most of my hunting alone and would be interested in helping or learning from other local MDers, more learning than helping I'm sure.

WELCOME DK ;

? I see you Have ADELPHIA, you Must be Close .

? ?Where are you from ?

& even tho' it Dosn't Matter, I'm curious, What Detector are you Using ?

Yes I live in JOLIETT, right along Rt. 209, right before you head OFF the Mountain Towards 81 .

Hey Jeff,

I am currently using a White's DFX. I started detecting about a year or so ago with a White's Classic IDX, but then a buddy of mine in Harrisburg showed me the DFX and I was in love. Having simple things like Tone ID and depth reading have made the hobby so much more enjoyable. I still have the Classic ID....sometimes my son or brother will go along so I just hung onto it. I still consider myself a newbie and I learn something about the dirt, the targets and the machine every time I go out (which is not often enough), but the learning is half the fun. I am also discovering great places like this forum to learn from the experience of other great people.

DK
