Looking for a pinponter/probe for my E-trac. Any suggestions?

I've had several holes take too long to dig with just the detector - some I never found. I am now looking for a pinpointer/probe for my e-trac. Any suggestions on what to get?

I was thinking too long to dig might also be determined by the digging tool, in addition to the pinpointer.

Leee Valley has a 9" blade with teeth aluminum-magnesium weeder for about $15.

I use a cheap Cen-Tech pinpointer $20 1"+ coin range, but you'd probably prefer one woth more depth? The 2 suggested would be better. I think on the pistol probe, they claimto 6" on coins? Or if you want to know if you're close, maybe one with less power could sometimes be better?? HH, George (MN)

yaaaaaaaho----the det.pro pistol probe the only way to go.every bid of 6" on top or in the hole!wow what a probe just bought mine.they have a great warranty!hope this helps.
