Found this where I found the early sash buckle. I cleaned it with my Andre’s pencils, it was packed with dirt. I know it’s a valve. Is it a torch, acyelene or something else? Age? Found with 1860s-early 1900s items . No markings on it .

Lots of Victorian homes had Acetylene acceleration units.
These type of valves are found around old cellar holes.
Here is one I found at a cellar hole that had no service of any type (meaning power/gas)
