A friend of mine found this in an old part of town, on a boulevard strip in Vancouver, BC.
I did some online research and found a similar example which was identified as possibly being military. :icon_scratch:

I've asked my friend for more details about the buckles construction; it appears to be cast brass as opposed to stamped.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks, Dave

Could it be a WW2 era Canadian "Nursing Sisters" buckle?
Thank you sir.
I saw that one online as well, this one is slightly different.

Dave, congrats to your friend for finding this beauty! Looked at pics of creskol's ID and I couldn't tell the difference. Maybe whatever difference you see if from 1 manufacturer to another(?). Still it is a really cool save.
