Looking for metal detecting enthusiast near Beaufort SC area

I have lived in area for four years and am interested in finding others in area with interest in this hobby.
I am not familiar with old areas an or some of the better hunting areas. Occasional weekends and or evenings.

This post is pretty old but if you are still in beaufort, i would enjoy hunting with someone else as well. I am new to the hobby but have found some pretty cool stuff, the best things have actually been in the yard around my house, go figure.
