looking for points

I managed to get out with my old man. Hoping to find a point I came across some nice pottery. I managed a small flake knife and a piece which was discarded while working.

That is a fine assemblage of pottery pieces. Were they found near each other? They sure look like they belong together.

They are from the same spot. Any hole I dig they show up. These pieces are part of the same pot. I had brought my father to a few of my spots. We only spent 15 minutes there. I will be back to find the rest for this pot. Did some fur trade stuff too.

So how deep did you find the pottery? Looks like its going to be a good dig site for you.

Everything is about 6-7 inches down.
Then you hit beach sand which make it easier for me to get at. Hoping to find some more stone pieces and maybe bone if I'm lucky.
